Online access to your appointment information

Digital letters and information is available for most of our outpatient appointments. You can access this information on your smartphone, desktop computer or laptop.

Digital Letters – Patient Portal

You can now receive most of your hospital appointment notifications from United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust (ULHT) straight to your smartphone through a secure link received via an SMS (text message), once selected and the instructions followed the patient portal will be opened. By choosing to use the patient portal, you can view, interact, and manage your correspondence from the hospital quickly and efficiently, all through your smartphone, laptop, tablet or PC.

There are more benefits of using the patient portal if you choose to register, such as better accessibility and the ability to view all your historic appointment correspondence in one place.

More exciting features relating to your hospital healthcare correspondence will be added to the patient portal for registered patients soon!

Important Tip

Please ensure the hospital has your correct mobile number. If you update your personal details with your GP Practice, you will still need to update with the hospital, you can do this by contacting us on:

01522 573200 / 01522 573199 / 01205 446422.

How do I access my outpatient appointment invitation?

When you receive an SMS from the hospital inviting you to use the patient portal, it will appear as shown.

If you do not wish to receive any further digital communications from ULHT, please contact the number on your letter and a member of staff would be happy to opt you out from receiving any further text messages from ULHT. For all future appointments you would then receive a paper copy of your appointment letter in the post.

If you do not interact with the link within the SMS, a letter will be sent to you in the post after 48 hours of the text message being delivered.
