Temporary disruption to the water supply – Lincoln County Hospital

This morning (Tuesday 30 January) Lincoln County Hospital experienced a temporary disruption to the water supply affecting non-drinking water.

Emergency repairs have been completed and the supply has been restored, but unfortunately some procedures and appointments were cancelled and some patients were diverted other sites to prioritise the water supply for inpatients and urgent and emergency care.

We’re continuing to ask people to only attend Lincoln County Hospital if necessary, and to make efforts to collect their friends or family if they are ready for discharge but waiting for patient transport.

Cancelling patient appointments is not a decision we take lightly and we are sorry to those who have been affected. Our booking teams are now working exceptionally hard to re-book everyone that has been cancelled and to get people back in as quickly as possible.
