We are once again inviting Lincolnshire Schools to take part in making Christmas cards for patients who are in our hospitals over the festive period.
Our patients are at the heart of everything we do at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust and we want to make this Christmas extra special, with handmade cards and Christmas tree decorations.
We would like to thank everyone for the incredible support with cards and decorations over the last few years.
We are inviting children and local crafters to take part again this year in making Christmas cards and small Christmas tree decorations for patients who are in our hospitals at Christmas this year.
We would welcome as many cards and decorations as possible to be sent to us by Friday 9 December. Cards and decorations will be distributed to our patients across all of our hospitals on the week commencing Monday 19 December.
If you would like to make non-festive parcels for our patients who do not celebrate Christmas, then non-festive decorates such as flowers and hearts can be made instead.
The Christmas cards need to be
- A5 in size
- Pictures on the cards should be drawn, painted or coloured in as we have to be careful not to have items that may come off the cards.
The Christmas tree decorations need to be:
- Made from paper, straws, chenille sticks, craft sticks, salt dough, knitted and sewn and hang with string or ribbon.
When packs are completed, please send them to:
Christmas Cards for Patients, Patient Experience Team, Grantham Hospital, 101 Manthorpe Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 8DG
Parcels can also be dropped off at our main receptions at Lincoln County Hospital and Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
