Advertising our next set of members Locality Forum meetings, which will be taking place across our sites in October.
The opening hours of Grantham A&E have been temporarily reduced for the next three months due to staffing pressures. The department will be open from 9am to 6.30 pm, seven days a week for three months. We do not have enough doctors to safely staff all three of our A&Es 24 hours a day, 7 days week.
Reducing the opening hours of Grantham A&E will help maintain safe services across Lincolnshire as we can move doctors from Grantham to Lincoln and Pilgrim A&Es – our busiest A&Es.
Clinical research is taking centre stage with the opening of a new research facility at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
The event included talks by the Director of the Lincolnshire Clinical Research Facility Dr Tanweer Ahmed and Chief Executive of the National Institute for Health Research, Clinical Research Network Dr Jonathan Sheffield OBE, as well as patients Gary White and Linda Storr, who have directly benefitted from clinical trials at the hospital.
