What do you like best about your job? The proximity you get to the patient, it’s a closer relationship of trust and care that I have stablished with my patients as an advance practitioner, it is different to the relationship you have working in other services.
What was the first record you ever bought? It was a Britney Spears CD, I was such a fan.
Who or what inspires you? I am always inspired by people who are intelligent, resourceful and well organised, I think there is a hidden hope that some of those qualities will get transfer to me. LOL.
Name one thing you couldn’t live without? Bread, I am such a Spaniard in regards to food, I eat bread with literally everything.
How would your friends and colleagues describe you? I have been told in the past I was cheerful and always smiley, secretly I am an old grumpy man.
Which three people, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party and why?
Dan Reynold (lead singer of Imagine Dragons) I love this group, but also I am amazed by the work they do to raise mental health awareness as well as LGBT awareness.
Hugh Jackman, I am a huge fan of music theatre, and he was amazing in Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman, also he seems like a very nice man.
Ellen DeGeneres, I think as a LGBT advocate and representative her work has been incredible, plus she is very funny.
Who had the greatest influence on your career? I don’t think I have had one influence, I am the only member within my family who works in health care services.
What’s your favourite sport? Crossfit, it is the best sport ever, everyone should try it.
If you could have any superpower what would it be? Teletransportation, that way I could pop in an out to visit my family back home, sometimes I miss them terribly.
What was the last thing that made you smile? I recently celebrated my second year anniversary, my husband and I had the best time away, it makes me realise how lucky I am to have a partner in life as amazing as he is.
What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could sing, seriously I can make a cat cry when I sing, I am so bad.
Who’s your favourite band? Imagine Dragons, without a doubt.
What is your greatest achievement? I played violin with James Adutt (pianist, cello player and lawyer) in the Churchill room in the Houses of Parliament.
Where is your favourite place in the world? Granada, followed by Cuba.
What’s your favourite book? Any of the Harry Potter books, I am a huge fan of the books and movies.
If you could change one thing about where you work what would it be? That’s a tricky one, I would like to bring people together and be more involved with what’s happening in the Trust, At the end of the day, we spend a long time here, we might as well make sure it’s the best place to be after our own home.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you take with you?
