What was the first record you ever bought?
Billy Connolly – Stainless Steel Wellies.
Name one thing you couldn’t live without?
A nice hot bath.
How would your friends and colleagues describe you?
My colleague told me that I am: positive, supportive, hardworking, friendly, quirky, strong, knowledgeable and approachable – the money is in the post!
Which three people, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party and why?
Billy Connolly, Winton Churchill and Dan Snow. It’s a mixture of humour, history and sport.
What’s your favourite sport?
I like swimming and running, because I am a massive park run advocate.
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
I would like a magic wand. I always say to patients ‘if only I had a magic wand’.
What was the last thing that made you smile?
Boris Johnson’s puppy Dilyn.
What talent do you wish you had?
I am a big fan of history and would love to be able to recall all of the dates and facts. Now that would be a pub quiz super power!
Where is your favourite place in the world?
Sitting by the sea with a glass of wine.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you take with you?
Ray Mears Survival book, a knife and a boat!
